First Nursery School offers high quality pre-school services through our Universal Pre-K Program in the Utica, NY area. This is a state funded program coordinated by the Utica City School District. We have been a part of this program since it began in Utica in 1998. We have certified teachers and small classes.
About The UPK Program:

FREE to Utica City School District residents who are 4 years old by December 1.

5 days a week, following the Utica City School District school year calendar.

Half day sessions at all of our sites.
Universal Pre-K Program Curriculum:

Literacy based, follows NYS learning standards.

Hands-on learning.

Learning centers to develop independence and meet individual learning needs.
